Body Contour Injection

Certain deposits do not respond to the scale. The area under the chin, the fold at the bra line, the inner knee: these hold their shape while the rest of the body changes, because their fat cells are less metabolically willing to give anything up. Injectable contouring treats those areas specifically.

We are direct about what this is not. It is not a weight-loss treatment, and it will not work as one — the volume we can address in a course is small and local. Patients who arrive expecting a number on the scale to move are usually better served by a metabolic consultation, and we will refer rather than treat.

The session is short. After marking the area, a series of small injections is placed in a grid through the deposit. Most patients describe a warm stinging that lasts a few minutes. Swelling follows within hours and is the main visible effect for the first two or three days — the treated area will look larger before it looks smaller, which is expected and worth planning around.

Change becomes visible from the third session, and the course finishes at four to six depending on the area and how it responds. We photograph and measure at the same points each visit rather than relying on impressions, because gradual local change is genuinely hard to see in your own mirror.

Results are durable as long as your overall weight is stable; treated fat cells do not return, but untreated ones nearby can still enlarge. We will say plainly at the review whether another session would help or whether you have reached the point where the answer is elsewhere.
