A softer forehead that still moves

She had two problems that looked like one: horizontal lines that deepened whenever she spoke, and a hollowing at the temple and mid-cheek that was letting the whole upper face descend. Treating the lines alone would have flattened her expression without addressing why the skin had slack in it.

Relaxant went first, in small mapped doses, deliberately under-dosed at the outer brow so the arch was preserved. At the two-week review the movement lines had softened and — as expected — the static folds had not, which made the second half of the plan easy to size.

Filler was then placed deep, on bone at the temple and in the deep cheek compartment, with nothing placed into the folds themselves. Two small bruises, gone in four days.

The six-week photograph shows a face that reads rested rather than smooth. She can still raise her brows, which was her one non-negotiable at the consultation. Review booked at four months, and we have already told her the temple will need repeating long before anything else does.
